Beijing AIZHIXING Institute originally developed from Beijing AIZHI Action Project. It engages in non profit social work. Through Education, Care, Research and Advocacy, its purpose is to fight discrimination and protect the rights of people living with HIV/AIDS as well as to put forward policies which protect the rights and interests of minorities, vulnerable communities and people living with contagious diseases. AIZHIXING also provides financial help and supply of outreach material to more than twenty organizations as well as advice and training on capacity building, finance, management and daily operations.
AIZHIXING is divided into three different projects: legal, policy and education.
Its objectives are:
1. Fight discrimination
2. Spread knowledge and education on HIV/AIDS
3. Provide support for children affected by HIV/AIDS and for people suffering from contagious diseases
4. Develop research on health policies
5. Advocate social justice and human rights
